Our History:
Washbay Specialists have a proud history dating back to 1987 in Western Australia, when our founder began in the commercial plumbing industry, quickly specialising in the installation of automated car wash systems—including the iconic “Clean & Go” facilities at BP service stations.
In 1992, we launched a family-owned plumbing business focused on servicing the industrial and automotive sectors. The turning point came when a motor vehicle dealership—facing compliance issues—requested a proper wash down bay installation. They were illegally washing and degreasing vehicles on-site, putting their environmental compliance and business reputation at risk. We delivered a solution—and haven’t looked back since.
Today, Washbay Specialists are leaders in the design, construction, servicing, and maintenance of high-performance wash bays, vehicle washdown areas, and environmental water treatment systems across Australia. From mechanical workshops and truck depots, to car dealerships, mining, agriculture, and fleet operators, we work with businesses who need to meet EPA regulations, council standards, and industry-specific environmental laws.
